MEDAL PRESENTATION
Douglas Currie was presented with his British Empire Medal by the Lord Provost at Edinburgh City Chambers on Monday 25th March.

NEW ADDITION TO PAST PRODUCTIONS
A number of photos of our production of "Cupboard Love" at this year's S.C.D.A. One Act Festival at St. Serfs have been added.
Although we were not placed, our performance was very well received by the audience and we will be reviving the play
in May for the Killin Comedy Festival.

CONGRATULATIONS TO DOUGLAS CURRIE B.E.M.
Douglas received long overdue recognition in this year's New Year Honours list by being awarded the British Empire Medal.

ANNIVERSARY EVENT
To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the club's first production in 1937 and the 30th Anniversary of our first appearance at the 1982 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, we held an event on Friday 26th October, 7.30pm, at the Royal Scots Club in Abercrombie Place.
Photos can now be seen in the Social Events page.

NEW PHOTOGRAPHS ADDED
Thanks to Erica Donald , we have yet more new additions to the "Past productions" section. For the first time, we have photographs for the 1951 production of four one act plays. Other additions for the 1950s include new photos for "Blithe Spirit", "Lace on her Petticoat", "Charity Begins" and "Champagne for Breakfast". We also have two "new" reviews for "Wasn't it Odd?" and, best of all, a review of our very first production in 1937. Click on Past Productions to have a look. However, we still have a large number of productions with no photographic "evidence". If any former members out there have anything tucked away in scrapbooks, we'd love to hear from you.
